We use AI to build faster and to analyze process data, not to run your equipment.

AI helps us build Ignition projects faster and analyze the process data your gateway already collects. A senior engineer designs, reviews, tests and commissions anything that touches live equipment, and that engineer's name goes on the commissioning report.

In short

We use AI in two places: building the Ignition project, and looking through process data for failure patterns, lost capacity and the causes of scrap. The logic that runs your equipment is standard Ignition logic, and an engineer reviews it, tests it and is responsible for it.

What we look for

The questions we investigate in process data

Your gateway collects more process data than anyone has time to review. These are questions a dashboard usually does not answer:

  • Downtime. Study how each machine has failed in the past, so you can address it before the line stops.
  • Capacity. Identify the hours lost on equipment you already own.
  • Scrap. Tie each defect to the process conditions that caused it.
  • Drift. Detect gradual change that a fixed alarm limit would miss.
  • Plain-English questions. Ask about your plant and get an answer drawn from its own process data.
Who's responsible

A senior engineer is responsible for every result.

The usual concern about AI in a plant is a model writing to live tags with no one responsible for it. We do not work that way.

Whether we use AI to build the Ignition project or to find patterns in process data, a senior engineer designs, reviews, tests and commissions the result. What runs on your gateway is the same predictable Ignition logic it would be without AI.

  • Read first. Analyzing process data requires no control access.
  • Writes are gated. Anything that can change equipment is limited to what the job requires, must be explicitly enabled, and is reviewed.
  • Tested off production first. Nothing runs autonomously against a live line.
  • A name on the report. The engineer who commissioned it signs the commissioning report.
If your own team is building with AI

The same standard should apply to work your own engineers do with AI. A free Ignition MRI reviews everything in one gateway backup, whoever or whatever wrote it, and ranks every risk it finds. If you want a senior engineer working inside your team, see engineering support.

Questions we get

FAQ

Can AI control my plant?+

No. We use AI to build faster and to look through process data. Anything that writes to live equipment is gated, reviewed and commissioned by a senior engineer.

Is our process data safe?+

We read before we write, writes are gated, and each integration has access only to what the job requires.

Our team already builds Ignition projects with AI. What would we need you for?+

For routine screens and scripts, often nothing. That work has become much faster. We add value in architecture that holds up as the system grows, integration across SCADA, MES and ERP, behavior under load, and a senior engineer who is responsible for what reaches production.
